The first of several tough handicaps that punters have to try and solve on Lingfield's card with plenty of chances among the 14 runners. Mark Brisbourne's Escalade deserves to win a race after some decent efforts in defeat but the son of Green Desert tends to find at least one too good and will probably do so again here. Gary Moore's Master T has been raised 5lbs for his latest effort behind Analyze - his first on the all-weather this winter - and others make more appeal. Junikay has claims on the strength of his recent course and distance second behind Snuki, when just ahead of Rich Pickins and Dispol Evita, who are both held on that form. The ex-Irish Creg Ny Shee is difficult to weigh up and the tentative selection is Tarawan. Although without a run since July, Ian Balding has his string in good form at present so fitness should not be a problem and, off what looks a handy mark, he could be worth a small investment.
