Only Long Tall Sally of these has yet to race on sand this winter so there is plenty of form for backers to go on. John Balding's Justalord is probably the form pick but has been doing his running on the Fibresand tracks and how well he will go on the Polytrack - especially off a higher mark - is difficult to judge. A similar comment applies to Rellim. Topweight Mishka has been given a chance by the handicapper but is probably best over further than the minimum trip. Cadravel looks to have plenty of weight for what he has achieved, while Tree Roofer has gone up in the weights again despite not winning. Karl Burke's Ryan's Quest is entitled to come on for her recent start at Wolverhampton and has to be respected but narrow preference is for a horse with similar credentials, Long Tall Sally. Admittedly the daughter of Danehill Dancer has not been seen since a length third behind Lily Of The Guild at Salisbury in August but fitness should not be a problem. The return to five furlongs should suit and, off a favourable mark, she gets the nod over the Burke runner.
