What's Up Doc, Matrimony and Atlantic City are the three to concentrate on in this tight affair, with the narrow vote going to the last mentioned. The gelding from the Willie Haggas yard showed plenty of ability last season, twice finishing second. That form reads well in the context of this race and he should be capable of winning. What's Up Doc has shown promise on all three of his runs to date in Ireland and he has to be seriously considered here now that he is stepped up in trip. The extra two furlongs is sure to suit and with his stable in good form he will not be far away at the finish. Matrimony is a well-bred colt who hails from the Ed Dunlop yard and he has to be respected. If the market speaks in his favour it could pay to take the hint, but we will side with experience here and give the vote to Atlantic City.
