In depth

Verdict

Little form to go on and, as ever in this type of event, the market will prove an invaluable guide. Abzuson showed the benefit of previous experience when landing a Hexham bumper in April but has been absent since and may struggle to follow up under a 7lb penalty against some unexposed rivals. They include Tim Easterby's Doe Nal Rua who put up an encouraging effort when third (clear of the remainder) on his debut at Wetherby last month. Lennie Lungo saddles newcomer Dobbiesgardenworld, who makes plenty of appeal on breeding, while Mary Reveley is double handed with the promising Shaluji sure to improve for her recent Wetherby bow. The tentative TEAMtalk vote goes to Kids Inheritance who wa a little below par when fancied at Southwell last time but had previously shown enough ability to win a race of this nature when third at Carlisle in October and should be able to figure in the finish if able to reproduce the same level of form.
