In depth

Verdict

Suited by any ground and capable at this track Cruz Santa is the confident TEAMtalk selection though his price may prove prohibitive. Suited better by further he should still have too much class for his rivals here and looks well weighted. Castle Clear is generally consistent for trainer Sue Bradburne and this gelding did not run too badly at Ayr last week. He will need to improve on that effort to challenge the favourite but he looks solid placepot material. Up The Glen won a seller at Hexham before disappointing at Sedgefield last time out. This track could suit him better and the drop in trip will suit. He should put up a good account of himself. Deb's Son has shown ability in the past including at this track. He needs to improve on recent efforts but the ground will suit him here as well as the step back in trip. Santa Lucia will be suited by this track and trip but needs to improve stones to give the selection a race.
