Tender Touch's reappearance run at Hexham can be forgiven due to the testing conditions. Now on a handy mark this grey mare is one of the most consistent in the field and will handle the surface. With a good conditional taking 7lbs off his back he is the TEAMtalk selection in what is a weak race. Shaffishayes will prove popular with punters from an in-form team with a good record at the track but this grand old performer on the Flat has not set the world on light over hurdles and although this is his easiest task to date he is still opposable. In Good Faith hails from a stable whose runners are running better than ever and this gelding has shown a liking for this course in the past. It would be no shock to see him run well. Likely favourite Copplestone did win last time out at Catterick but as he is the type who rarely puts in two good back-to-back performances he is another worth opposing.
