In depth

Verdict

Woolfall Treasure, Miss Mactango and Lady Fire look the principals here with Woolfall Treasure the selection. Having shown some ability at Southwell on her debut, Miss Mactango was then highly tried at Chester. She ran respectably, and this weaker affair should suit much more and she can finish closer to the front. Lady Fire is a son of a three time juvenile winner, out of the daughter of Indian Skimmer. She may appreciate further in time and this distance looks a good starting point for her. From a betting point of view the market should be heeded. Although still a maiden in seven starts, Woolfall Treasure has run some sound races in defeat, twice finishing second and on his latest start running a close third in a good Newmarket handicap over this trip. He has been found a much easier task here and Woolfall Treasure can get his reward.
