Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Uncle Brit was in fine form last summer and was only just touched off in heavy conditions on his hat-trick attempt at Carlisle in September. He's up another 4lb and could need the run so the race-fit REGAL SWAIN is handed the chance to finally get off the mark. He was a bit unlucky in-running at Pontefract last week and runner-up Carragold can give the form a boost in the previous race. Basingstoke attracted very good support on his handicap debut at Wolverhampton but didn't appear to enjoy the surface and is better judged on last season's Turf form. Silvestre De Sousa should get a tune out of Seldom despite a long lay-off.
