In depth

Verdict

Edith Anne showed a bit of promise in her first season and made a successful handicap debut on ground with some give at Redcar for which she's been raised 7lb. Runner-up Megaleka is 6lb better off for a 2l beating which makes the pair very difficult to split. Michael Dods has his team firing but the maiden Cracking Choice appears to have plenty to do so this can go to JOFRANKA. She showed some potential on Polytrack before making a fine start on Turf when a close second to Shirley's Pride at Catterick so connections will be delighted to see the assessor has dropped her 2lb and she should take advantage.
