        Verdict

        A very poor auction maiden that will not take much winning and PRINCESS RAINBOW is the clear form pick on her second behind Factotum at Leicester last month. She did race very keenly in that event but taking that into consideration, it was a smart performance against rivals who had shown a fair level of ability. The winner and the third have both scored since giving the form an added boost. Orkney has shown a low level of ability in moderate maidens over a variety of trips and the fact she looks the main danger is proof of the lack of strength of this as a race. Starbougg should be monitored with a return to jumping likely over the coming weeks while Golondrina contested what appeared a fair maiden at Nottingham last week. She was not totally disgraced in that but Princess Rainbow is the clear form pick and should be able to win it.
