Verdict

Oso Magic should strip fitter for his recent return over hurdles and has to be respected back over the larger obstacles along with Cartmel winner Karo de Vindecy but, in receipt of weight all round, a chance is taken with Wilful Lord. The selection unseated his rider early on in the race won by Devondale at Hexham last week but is still feasibly well treated on the pick of his form, including on a soft surface, and he gets the vote. Bob's Buster is capable but is proving to be expensive to follow, while Glenfarclas Boy may need another run to put him spot on. Apadi should strip fitter for his two runs this term and could be of interest but Wilful Lord receives plenty of weight all round and is taken to make that pay.
