Not many of these can be given a realistic chance on recent evidence so a chance is taken with Caesarean Hunter, who gets the vote ahead of Minster Abbi and Silver Sedge. The last mentioned got no further than the first flight last time but has claims on earlier form, while Minster Abbi showed improved form last time and has to be respected on that evidence. Villago has claims on bits and pieces of his form along with Jim Goldie's Kyle of Lochalsh, while Gimme Shelter is better than he showed on his return at Ayr recently. Terramarique looks to be one of the lesser lights in Len Lungo's yard but may have improved from last season to this, while Hello Baby showed promise at Hexham last month and has claims if in the same mood again. Captain's Leap and Kyber are others worthy of a mention but in a poor contest a chance is taken with Caesarean Hunter, who can hardly be backed with confidence on last season's form but the yard was under a cloud then and with the stable of Richard Phillips going much better now he could be of interest.
