In depth

Verdict

Jefertiti, Silver Sedge and Transit are three against the field in a wide open affair and the confident vote is given to Jefertiti. The selection won well last time out when beating Norseman Cataline and although having a penalty for that win he has won off a higher mark in the past and under conditions that suit he is taken to win again. Silver Sedge rates the main danger on his best form but he showed little when returned to hurdles last time and although he returns to the larger obstacles here he may just need qanother run. Transit was a fair third behind Present Oriented last time and as that form has since been franked he will not be far away. Of the remainder Sands Rising is from a yard in form and looks on a handy mark so is worth a cautionary look in the market but for the winner we return to Jefertiti.
