An absence since should not inconvenience the six-year-old, who hails from a stable more than capable of readying a horse after a lay off and, in a weak race, he gets the vote. Southwell winner Feanor and Copplestone now look to be in the grip of the handicapper, while Mister Chisum is on a long losing sequence. Stormy Beech holds claims on the pick of his form but has not reproduced anything like that in three runs so far this season so Rising Generation gets the vote.
