BAAHER stays well enough over the sticks to suggest that this two mile trip will be within his grasp; the most eminent dangers include Prince Rhyddarch and Front Rank. Jim Goldie's gelding has top-weight to carry here following a good effort in defeat last time. The form of that second to John Forbes at Ayr reads fairly well and the way he finished his race suggested that this trip will unlock further improvement. If a 5lb rise in the weights proves to be too much, it may pay dividends to side with Front Rank. He has been holding his form well throughout the Autumn and a recent hurdles win at Cartmel suggests that he is in fine form. Course and distance winner Sendali stays well and he was a good second here over hurdles when last seen in March, Celtic Charisma runs this track well, whilst Transferred holds Knock Three Times on a form line through Twist Again. Fistral and Whitcombe Spirit are two more to consider, along with the consistent Terminate who has been plying his trade at a lowly level. Prince Rhyddarch is a proven horse on soft ground and msut be considered a threat if taking to the first-time cheek-pieces however it is Baaher who is taken to prevail.
