A chance is taken with Roadworthy, who gets the nod over Joe Malone and Named At Dinner in a race that probably will not take too much winning. Named At Dinner has gone well here in the past and obviously appreciates a galloping surface. Cut in the ground is not a problem for him and, as this is his level, he should go well in this company. Joe Malone is a lightly raced individual that has claims on the best of his efforts. However, he has been on the go since May and, as his record suggests, his tendency to find little less than expected in the closing stages if off-putting. He can also be troublesome at the start and it may be prudent to gauge how the betting market is speaking about him before getting involved again today. Which brings us back to Roadworthy, who looks a more straightforward option. This course brought the best out of him when he raced here last month and a repeat dose would be good enough for him to finally break his duck.
