In the opener, Captain Windsor gets the call ahead of In Accord and Super Lord. A point to point winner in April, Captain Windsor was quite well touted before an intended engagement on Saturday before being scratched. Consequently he rates as very interesting coming into this contest. Beau Supreme has competed very well from higher marks over fences and comes firmly into the reckoning, while In Accord's form fully entitles him to his current rating of 115, which is more than good enough to enable him to get involved today. He rates as a big danger to the selection. El Hombro del Rio has a few pounds to find with what we see as the principals if he is to play a part today but Super Lord would hold claims if getting back to the type of impression he left when winning a Windsor bumper last November. French winner Monzon is probably best watched on his British debut unless the market suggests otherwise and Kobai needs to build substantially on his hurdling debut in order to play a part here. Overall, though, Captain Windsor gets the vote.
