The fact Kieren Fallon makes the dash from Epsom to partner THAT'LL DO NICELY is a solid enough clue to nominate the Nicky Richards-trained gelding for selection; he gets the nod ahead of Aldaado, George Adamson and High Office. The last named is relatively lightly raced and, having won over this trip at Musselburgh in April, there are no fears about his stamina holding out. Quite whether there will be enough cut in the ground is debatable, though. George Adamson won an 'egg & spoon' race last time out and needs to up his game tonight. A 5lb higher mark leaves him with a stiff test. Aldaado likes this time of year and, having dropped to a handy mark, he is very much respected. However, a stiffer course may be more to his liking and he needs everything to fall into place for him. Therefore, it can help pave the way for a successful journey north for the former champion jockey, who makes the dash from the Derby-Day celebrations to partner That'll Do Nicely. The gelding is versatile regarding the ground and, as he has also been given a chance by the handicapper, Fallon's mount has everything in his favour tonight.
