This is a very tough race with a large number of progressive three-year-olds in the line-up, but Inch Island just gets our vote, ahead of recent scorer Hans Christian and Tim Easterby's pair, Shin Paradise and Just One Smile. John Quinn's gelding had some fair form in nursery handicaps last year, and showed himself to be as good as ever when chasing home Craiova at this course on his reappearance. The third home, New Seeker, gave the form a big boost when bolting up in a competitive handicap at Newmarket on Friday, and with Fergal Lynch taking over from an apprentice he looks worth a bet here. Hans Anderson benefited from the step up in trip when winning in good style when unfancied from a poor draw at Beverley on his reappearance and he Mark Johnston's horse should not be too far away from this four pound higher mark. Tim Easterby sets a poser, with David Allan on board recent Musselburgh scorer Shin Paradise and Paul Hanagan on handicap debutante Just One Smile, as both have fair claims here. Others to consider include Miss Issy, who showed improved form when just touched off at Warwick last time, all-weather winner Wensleydale Lad and Sir Mark Prescott's Coat Of Honour, another who makes his handicap debut today.
