In a weak looking claimer, Bee Health Boy is expected to land the prize, with Zietzig, Sal's Gal and Nothing daunted the main dangers. Richard Fahey's ten-year-old has showed himself to be in good order already this season, having been placed in both of his starts, at Beverley and Pontefract. He won the second division of this race last year, having earlier finished second in the same race at Beverley that he contested this year and connections are clearly following a tried and trusted route. The remainder look a bit of a motley bunch, but Zietzig got his head in front in a seller at Catterick last time and should be thereabouts if able to reproduce that form, although his best efforts seem to come on sharper tracks than this. Sal's Girl has been busy on the all-weather tracks this year and out up arguably her best effort when third to Blakeset last time, so is worth considering if she can translate that form to turf. One other worth noting is Nothing Daunted, who has shown nothing in two all weather starts for Jamie Osborne but was a fair handicapper for David Nicholls last year and is the pick of the weights on official ratings.
