This contest centres around the newcomer Mazloma. A Kingmambo colt who cost in excess of 220,000 guineas, those in opposition to him here are nothing special and he need not be above average to land this. He obviously has been slow to come to hand, making his racecourse debut as a three year old but market support should indicate he is ready to do the job. Milton Of Campsie shaped with some promise at Pontefract last week over an inadequate 6f, appearing to get outpaced before staying on once again. Inontime should be capable of picking up a handicap but will struggle to beat the less exposed sorts. The market should be observed where the remainder are concerned. Mazloma is bred to be decent and is picked to land it.
