Verdict

The market should obviously prove the best guide as the three previous winners were all well supported. Alistair Whillans took the event a year ago so Whadaurmeddlewimei, a half-brother to two winning jumpers, is one to note. Mighty Cliche's dam has had winners with her first two foals and Teddy Tee has a fine stayers' pedigree. The Last Leg is a half-brother to a couple of winning hurdlers and Alizee De Janeiro's dam was a winner on the Flat in France. CORSAIR PRINCE is bred for the job being a half-brother to a winning bumper and out of a mare who won on the level. His stable is going well enough and he gets the nod.
