Verdict

Light The City ran three times on the all-weather last month, scoring at Southwell in the first of them. He was in cracking form when last seen over timber in December and will make a bold bid to concede the weight. Persian Herald scored at Southwell in January but has disappointed subsequently, especially at Sedgefield last time where he started favourite but was well beaten. Broctune Papa Gio landed a novices' handicap at Doncaster a year ago but is now 17lb higher despite not winning subsequently so this can go to RHYMERS STONE. Lucinda Russell's charge looks a progressive type as he followed his victory at Newcastle with a very good effort at Ayr where he was attempting to defy an 8lb rise. He's on the same mark here and Craig Nicol's claim is a major plus.
