Verdict

Dual bumper winner STONEBROOK showed the benefit of a promising debut over hurdles at Wetherby with a convincing success over Voyage A New York on very testing ground at Ayr. He's penalised here but it will be a surprise if he's beaten. Silver Vogue showed good pace for a long way on his debut in a Sedgefield bumper last month and will be much better suited to tackling hurdles as will Delta Forty, a bumper winner at Uttoxeter last April and placed in a Listed bumper at Huntingdon in January. Il Testone is another making his debut over timber and should do best of the remainder.
