Oblique, Rowan Warning and Suivez Moi are three to concentrate on in this open contest with the narrow vote given to Oblique. The selection has plenty in her favour as she will handle these ground conditions and the step-up in trip should bring about plenty of improvement. This filly could be a typical Sir Mark Prescott improver and she looks the one to beat. Rowan Warning made late headway when fourth behind Pinpoint at Doncaster last time so this extra furlong today should suit. However, he is unproven on this ground so it remains to be seen whether he will handle these conditions. Suivez Moi is a consistent colt who has been knocking on the door of late, but he is another who is unproven under today's conditions so it will take a leap of faith to put him forward today. Jerome looks to be the best of the remainder but he is more exposed than most of these and for the winner we return to Oblique.
