Spring Breeze, Vicious Prince and Bollin Thomas are three against the field in this handicap and the vote is given to Spring Breeze. The selection is a consistent type and if he gets an uncontested lead here then he should be difficult to peg back. He was a close second behind Turner last time and if he can run up to that level today then he should go close. Vicious Prince was disappointing at Hamilton last time but that over an inadequate trip and the return to this longer trip should suit. He is also proven on this surface so he looks to have a leading chance. Bollin Thomas would have claims on the pick of his form but the handicapper looks to have his measure at present and he is probably best watched. Toni Alcala is a course and distance winner who has been running consistently well of late, so he is another with place prospects and for the winner we return to Spring Breeze.
