    Verdict

The winning run of UNITED FRONT came to a halt last time but that was in a high-class renewal of the listed Quebec Stakes and his two previous decisive wins in decent Class 2 handicaps make him the one to beat. The trip suits and he is already a course and distance scorer. Bless Him has some good form in the book in Group company and rates a dangerous opponent here, especially if ready to roll on a first run since August. The Last Lion shaped nicely enough last time on only a second run back since 2016 and commands respect therefore, whilst Tempus is back after 435 days off on a first start for Archie Watson since leaving Roger Charlton. Crackling was engaged in the 1.43 at Southwell yesterday.
