      Verdict

      Nothing is ruled out in a tight contest. Secretinthepark, now a 12-year-old, continues to ply his trade effectively in this sort of sprint company and should make a good fist of conceding weight all round. Good Earth was a decisive scorer here latest when gaining a first success for his new yard and remains of interest off a 5lb higher mark, whilst Zapper Cass has 14 wins to his name but has gone through a fallow period in recent months. Mokaman - the only one without a course and distance win - has a first start since July so may need this but PHOENIX STAR has every chance if producing his best and was a really good runner-up at Southwell earlier this month.
