RAMONA CHASE is given the vote in the last, while La Sarrazine, Curzon Prince and Cold Quest are respected. The selection went with plenty of credit in defeat at Ascot last time and although he has not raced often on a softer surface he handled good to soft well that day. He remains on a competitive mark and he looks capable in an open event. La Sarrazine has conditions and trip to suit but just looks to have a few pounds too many to lump around. Chris Wall has his runners in good nick and runs Curzon Prince here. The Mujadil colt likes to get his toe in and sees out this trip pretty well so he should be thereabouts. Cold Quest was a winner on good to soft on debut and after one run this season and with his yard in form he is open to improvement here and could go close. The handicapper looks to have the measure of Redesignation now, but Gold Sovereign is unexposed over the trip and handles cut, so with Godolphin's runners going well he should be on the premises. Ramona Chase should be decent value against plenty of those with recent winning form and he can come good today.
