The title hunt is truly on for these Lady Amateur Riders and the experience of current series leader Serena Brotherton may be key in securing a win for WARNE'S WAY ahead of Boundless Prospect and Arctic Cape. The selection is a talented hurdler and was last seen finishing a gallant second to The Tother One at Sandown in February 2008. A mark of 65 for a hurdler rated 133 looks to be an attractive proposition, and it was a similar story with last-year's winner Blazing Bailey (ridden by this jockey). Princess Flame's second to Fantino in September reads well and she has the services of a talented young jockey, Rudry World has conditions to suit if on a going day, whilst Nawamees is best when bullying smaller fields and that looks unlikely here. Of more interest then may be Capable Guest if we judge him on his Newcastle win rather than his Kempton flop, whilst Boundless Prospect has won two of his last four starts and has been placed in all of his last eight. That is some record and the ten-year-old may still be feasibly handicapped. Monreale is tumbling down the weights at a decent rate of knots so the market should be watched closely there, whilst Etruscan could be very well treated on this handicap debut if we take his run behind Patkai a couple of years ago at Nottingham at face value. Benfleet Boy is another decent dual-performer and Brendan Powell's gelding should strip fitter for a recent run at the track, however it is his stablemate Warne's Way who can take advantage of what looks to be a lenient handicap mark.
