La Adelita looks a player however her close-up seventh in a Listed race last time has done her handicap mark no favours so we will pass her over and instead side with OCEAN TRANSIT now that Richard Price's filly is back over a more suitable trip. The two runnings of this race have gone to three-year-olds despite the measly weight-for-age allowance of just 2lbs. The selection is in her second season of racing and she takes a hefty drop in trip today. She is a game front-runner and is hard to pass when on song but in this competitive field she is likely to be ignored by many and should start at a good each-way price. Nora Mae is dropping down to an interesting handicap mark and the booking of young Mr Beuzelin catches the eye (1 out of 5 for the yard). The consistent trio of Sakhee's Pearl, Crystal Moments and Artistic License should all give backers a good run for their money, whilst La Adelita returns from almost a year off the track but if she has trained on then she might just outclass the lot. Glen Molly was having a good season before her flop at Newmarket; her absence since suggests that all was not right but if she bounces back then she looks a major player. We haven't seen the best of the ex-French Jet D' Eau yet, whilst the step back up to this trip may suit the Spartacus filly Undaunted Affair. Not an easy puzzle to solve, however we are happy to side with Ocean Transit.
