GOOLAGONG may be the ace in this pack and she's taken to get the better of Tarita and Light Dubai amongst others. The market is always going to be useful in this type of contest given the number of unexposed runners in the field but it would be no great surprise to see Goolagong attract support and step up on the form that she's shown thus far. The yard landed a double at the last meeting at the track and this well bred filly has shown more than enough to think that she should be capable of winning races from a mark of 70 although there are slight reservations about the drop back to seven. Tarita is one of the likelier threats having gone close at Bath on her seasonable reappearance over a mile whilst Light Dubai has come down a long way in the weights and was nearly able to take advantage at Warwick last time and is versatile with regard to underfoot conditions. Blue Again is another that may well attract support but she may be best watched with her yard struggling for winners at present and a bigger challenge may be posed by Lady Pattern who wasn't too far behind a stablemate of the selection over course and distance last weekend. She has live claims on that form but the finale may well turn out to be game, set and match to Goolagong.
