Verdict

CHEROKEE TRAIL ran green on debut at Ascot but always had matters in hand once hitting the front and the fourth ran well at Yarmouth earlier this week. He has an entry in next month’s Futurity and it will be disappointing if he can’t defy a penalty against a field largely comprised of newcomers. Imrahor, by Kingman out of a Sea The Stars mare, may prove the best of those though Evening Sun is a half-brother to a 7f winner. Hukum is by Sea The Stars and a half-brother to a winning miler. Millionaire Waltz showed promise at Newmarket on debut but that was back in April and over 5f.
