Fragrancy must be considered but carrying top-weight to victory could be tough and so we will side with Maghya ahead of Lindelaan. William Haggas is having a tremendous season and he saddles Maghya here. Whilst her wins have been coming on quicker ground, there is enough in her pedigree to suggest that she should handle these slower conditions. She has a 7lb rise in the weights to contend with but she is very progressive and this is traditionally the time of year when the three-year-old's do well. Farley Star ran well in a valuable handicap at Sandown recently and is a player, as is Lindelaan. She doesn't look to be a world-beater and this slower ground may work against her, however she was fairly impressive when taking a poor race at Windsor last time. Fantasy Princess is unexposed and adds another dimension, whilst Falconry and Eva's Request both have bits and pieces of form that makes them competitive. A good race, with Maghya taken to oblige.
