The feature Sprint can go the way of Rebecca De Winter; the rather long shortlist consists of the rest of the field, led by Penny's Gift. Richard Hannon's army of runners here means that he is more than likely to at least hit the frame with one or more, and the feeling is that Rebecca De Winter could be a bit of value. A winner on her second start at Chester, she then finished in midfield but only beaten by four lengths in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot. Her pedigree suggests that this softer ground will suit and she can take the honours. Stablemate Penny's Gift has been spoken of as the best of Hannon's runners, and she must be respected due to her fine form and light racing weight because of her cheap purchase price. She ran a blinder in the Albany but may just find this slight drop in trip against her. Caranbola is very consistent and shouldn't be far away, whilst Jargelle represents a trainer in top form and has already proven that she can run a bit. Bahamian Babe has a history of travelling well but she was well-held recently at Ascot. Senor Mirasol will do well to maintain his unbeaten record, whilst Raggle Taggle was a little unlucky in running last time and shouldn't be overlooked. Ralph Beckett also has claims with Finnegan McCool and Asaint Needs Brass, but let's face it this is a bit of a lottery. Richard Hannon has a superb record in this race, and it is Rebecca De Winter who can further improve his record.
