Teide Lady can defy a penalty over Consonant, Royal Indulgence, Follow The Colours and Diamond Dan. The eighth and final race on the card may see Teide Lady shrug off a 6lb penalty incurred for her victory gained in the stewards' room at Newcastle nine days ago. She was involved in a driving finish that day, but was bumped and barged into submission by Summer Lodge who in the end was quite rightly kicked out. Rae Guest's filly now gets the chance to follow up on merit and gets our vote. Consonant dropped away alarmingly at Salisbury last time but the step back up in trip should bring about some improvement. Royal Indulgence has the odd placed effort to his name and may reach the frame again here, while Follow The Colours meets mainly older rivals in a bid to get recent losses back, which will not make his task easy. Diamond Dan has been knocking at the door, hails from a stable in a bit of form, and has a decent jockey on board, so is another that makes a bit of appeal. However, Teide Lady is the one to side with.
