Another maiden to round off proceedings and it does not look particularly strong but once again some top stables represented. Nemo Spirit argueably sets the standard and is the selection having finished second in what appeared only an average maiden over the course last backend. The Muir stable have saddled some recent winners indicating the well being of the yard. Art Trend was well beaten at Newcastle last time and is not one of the leading lights at the Chapple-Hymn yard. He should improve for that racecourse debut but was made look average and is passed over. Tighnabruich showed some promise in weak maidens last season and the step up in trip should play to his strengths. Jeremy Noseda saddles an American bred colt namely In Close who is likely to appreciate a sounder surface. Nemo Spirit is selected to get punters out on a winning note.
