Division one of the fillies maiden with eight of these making their seasonal debuts. Miracle Seeker, a half sister to champion hurdle winner Katchit, gets the nomination with Elmaheela and Clowance others to consider in a contest where a watchful eye should be placed for future winners. Miracle Seeker showed real promise on her final start last season at Doncaster, in a contest run just one second slower than standard. An entry in the English and Irish Oaks appears rather hopeful but clearly connections do hold her in some regard and rightly so, on the evidence of that final start where she was prominent for most of the journey. The Jarvis yard are another yard that have been producing early season winners. Elmaheela should benefit for her backend debut at Newmarket where she appeared to be tenderly handled, understandably with her three year old career in mind. Another with Oaks entries, Infallible, the winner of that maiden contests Wednesday's Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket for which she is likely to head the market so the maiden is above average. Roger Charltons' Clowance is another who had an encouraging outing last backend and once again has a big race entry. Charltons' charges tend to come on for their first run so therefore we will oppose her today but keep a very close eye on her for future reference. Newcomer Dunedin Star would need to be above average to turn over those with racecourse experience. Miracle Seeker gets the vote but Elmaheela is a huge danger.
