Bahamian Babe, Gone Hunting and Saxford are the 3 to concentrate on in a competitive opener and the vote is given to Gone Hunting. The selection showed promise on his debut and he then built on that to score in impressive fashion when he beat Firth Of Fifth at Lingfield last time. He looks a progressive type and from a decent draw he can win again. Bahamian Babe won well on her debut at Southwell and she has the best of the draw here so she is an obvious danger. Saxford beat Raimond Ridge at Newcastle last time and we know he will handle the ground so he is another with solid claims. Kevin Ryan sends Majuba to post here and this well-bred colt is the most appealing of the newcomers, but in a trappy contest we are happy to side with Gone Hunting who can make it back-to-back wins.
