Blue Spinnaker is so well-handicapped on his old form that if he turns up here after a run on Wednesday at Beverley then he should take some stopping; Supercast looks the best of the rest. The selection was so impressive when winning at Doncaster at the weekend that one suspects it would take a few more penalties to stop him if in the same frame of mind. He is very much at home in this ground and with more to come, he gets the confident vote. Nok Twice disappointed when last seen but he may be better over seven furlongs, whilst Ghafeer won well last time out but this assignment looks tougher. Poppy's Rose is not straight-forward but she warrants respect as she tries this trip for the first time, whilst Messiah Garvey ran his best race for some time last time out at Southwell. Apres Ski needs watching in the betting as he returns from a lengthy absence, whilst at a price Hula Ballew could go well as a course and distance winner and he looks now to be on a fair mark. Supercast has been in good form on the all-weather this winter but this mark of 67 demands some more improvement, and so we will return to the class act Blue Spinnaker to win again.
