      In depth

      Verdict

      DARTMOUTH carries a Group 2 penalty and has never encountered ground this soft but the King George third is the class act so is taken to concede weight all round. Algometer is the dark horse and probably danger as he won a Listed race at Goodwood in May which has worked out well and then took his chance in the Epsom Derby, though hasn't raced since. Tashaar has a lot to find on these terms and Robin Of Navan and Ayrad also have some improving to do and are unproven on the surface.
