Luca Cumani has won the last two of these with short-priced favourites so the newcomer God Given, a half-sister to the brilliant Postponed, has to be respected. Interweave looked a certain improver when staying on nicely over 7f at Salisbury and is an obvious contender but SOBETSU looks the one to be on. The Godolphin filly didn't get the clearest of runs when making her debut behind the odds-on Spatial here last month and, with much more to offer, should be good enough. Another under the same ownership, Beautiful Escape, started favourite on her introduction at Lingfield in July but found 6f much too short and this is more like her trip. The Galileo filly Spirit Of India was also market leader on her debut at Ascot earlier this month and, though never involved after missing the break, will have learnt plenty.
