Verdict
Three of the last five winners have been three-year-olds who are well represented here. The lightly-raced maiden Compas Scoobie has been showing good pace over 7f so should be suited by the drop in trip while Menai found 7f on soft ground too much for him after landing a Lingfield maiden over this trip. SUMMER CHORUS bounced back to winning form over this trip in a much better race on the July Course before pulling too hard over 7f on a return visit. She looks to have a fair chance of returning to winning ways though Excellent George also scored over the July track and ran very well over the minimum trip from today's higher mark last time. Ice Age is very consistent and may have won at Ffos Las last month if getting a clear run.
