In depth

Verdict

Sheila's Showcase made late headway when third over 6f at Salisbury and is a likely improver. A similar comment applies to Fox Premier but he is one who will almost certainly not come properly into his own until tackling middle-distances next season. Ginger Fox was well beaten when third at Windsor and there are number of newcomers in this who probably have more potential. There is plenty of pace in the pedigree of the Sea The Stars colt Boerhan and he cost 270,000gns. William Haggas’ charge is interesting as is Jaleel, an 80,000gns Iffraaj colt. House Of Kings is by Camelot but we’ll take a chance on DESIROUS. She is the only filly running in this but is bred to be a top miler being by Kingman out of a Group 1 winner.
