Noojoom was good value for her win at Ascot last month but an 8lb rise for that success looks harsh and Marcus Tregoning's filly may have to settle for minor honours here with preference for Prince Nureyev, who gets the vote ahead of Shore Thing. The last mentioned made an encouraging return at Newmarket earlier this month and could be of interest if building on that effort. Henry Candy's Candle is less exposed than most of these but may be a shade high in the weights at present, while Silver Suitor faces no easy task on his handicap debut. John Dunlop's Eva Soneva So Fast is another worthy of a mention but the vote goes to Rod Millman's Prince Nureyev who has slipped to a fair mark and promises to show improved form for being stepped up to this trip.
