Another competitive maiden to assess here and with Barry Hills firing in the winners already this season we side with RULER OF ALL in front of Hyades and Gibb River. Unlike some of the other main protagonists the selection has already proven stamina for this trip when staying on well to grab a runners up spot in a weaker contest over 10 furlongs last time out. He's also likely to be sharper than his rivals with that run coming two weeks ago and he is bred well enough to improve for the run. Hyades is from a yard starting to hit form and was impressive on debut when claiming second place in a similar contest over a mile. He pressed the winner on that occasion though there was little evidence to support this step up in trip. Gibb River was considered good enough for a tilt at the Group One Racing Post Trophy and although that eventually proved folly he is obviously rated by his yard and should go better in this company. The form of John Gosden shouldn't be ignored at the moment and his Time Book can go well on debut but Ruler Of All can rule these.
