Silver Wind can land this handicap at the expense of Underworld and King's Caprice. The selection has been in good heart of late winning a nice race at Ascot before finishing second to Perfect Flight at Lingfield. The key to this gelding is that he has to have a soft service to see him at his best and with the likely hood of testing conditions at Newbury he should relish the conditions and if recapturing his best form he will be difficult to beat. Underworld won back to back races on the all weather at Lingfield and Wolverhampton during the winter and ran well at Ayr in June. He was outclassed at Ascot on his latest outing but now dropped in grade he has to be respected. As does King's Caprice who seems to be coming to himself lately putting in some solid efforts in defeat He handles a soft surface so should be monitored in the market. But for the winner we return to Silver Wind.
