Verdict
Sixties Icon is given the vote to win this valuable Group 3 contest at the expense of Donegal and Lion Sands. The selection was back to winning ways at Glorious Goodwood two weeks ago putting his disappointing run at the royal meeting behind him. The one concern would be the soft ground but although he would ideally like a firmer surface he has won on soft ground in the past so he should once again be in the shake up. Donegal won a Listed event at Newmarket before running well in defeat at Goodwood behind Conduit. He looks like a progressive type so is one to note in the market. Lion Sands was behind Sixties Icon last time and although he is force to be reckoned with he will struggle to reverse the placings. So for the winner we return to Sixties Icon.
