In depth

Verdict

Summerise can land another handicap ahead of Scottish River and Broughton Buzzer. Summerise confirmed his well being with an easy success at Lingfield Park on Saturday night and provided that he can maintain that progression on turf, he is difficult to argue against. Scottish River is another with winning form although this time on the turf. He is worthy of consideration on the proviso that overnight rain stays away. Broughton Buzzer is unexposed and is dutifully noted in the market. Ten furlongs could be on the sharp side for Crown Agent while Ballygriffin Kid is yet to win on turf on ten starts. Not the most attractive of betting mediums to get us underway and it is Summerise who secures our tentative selection.
