Silver Dixie won this in 2015 though hasn't run for over a year but Pink Ribbon won a similar race at Goodwood last summer and is just 2lb higher. Duke Of Yorkshire is an old hand at these events and invariably goes well for his rider. He should be thereabouts again though the vote goes to THE MAJOR, who had been knocking on the door for a while before getting off the mark at Haydock last week. Master Of Heaven is in cracking form having won his last two, both over this trip, while Berkeley Vale beat today's rival Attain at Bath though will have been aided by soft ground. Party Royal was always going nicely when scoring over further at Lingfield and is another to consider in a much more competitive amateurs' event than normal.
